Steve Antoniewicz, a technology executive in the information security industry, serves as director of professional services at McAfee, a major security software provider owned by Intel. Since 2010, he has maintained responsibility for delivery of McAfee’s product enablement as well as overseeing its Foundstone security assessment services throughout the Northeast. In addition to cultivating relationships with clients and growing the business, Steve Antoniewicz focuses on mentoring and building a strong team of project managers and consultants. In his first year, he substantially grew revenue in the Northeast region.
Prior to joining McAfee, Steve Antoniewicz co-founded an energy consultancy, TrustElement, Inc., that focused on issues of efficiency, climate change, and carbon management for large companies. Before this venture, he amassed 12 years of experience in the information security industry with such companies as ALFY, Inc., and NET2S (acquired by British Telecom), where he functioned as vice president of security solutions.
A popular speaker on information security at industry events, Steve Antoniewicz holds a number of prestigious professional certifications; a Certified Ethical Hacker, he is also a Certified Information Systems Security Professional. Mr. Antoniewicz sits on the board of the New York/New Jersey chapter of the Open Web Application Security Program and belongs to ISACA (formerly the Information Systems Audit and Control Association).
